Beinlich Pumpen expands the ViSCO.series® with a progressive cavity pump for precise liquid dosing in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries

The latest addition to the ViSCO.series®, the ViSCO.pharma, strengthens Beinlich Pumpen's portfolio of progressiv cavity pumps. The specially developed pump precisely fulfils the filling and dosing requirements of the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

Designed for optimal handling of liquids with a wide range of viscosities - from low-viscosity cannabis oils to viscous media such as margarine - the ViSCO.pharma builds on the proven technologies of Beinlich Pumpen's ViSCO.series®. It enriches the existing range with specific features tailored to the unique needs of these industries.

The easy disassembly with Tri-Clamps is a central feature of the ViSCO.pharma, enabling quick and straightforward cleaning. This attribute supports adherence to the strictest hygiene standards and reduces contamination risks. Utilizing sanitary flanges over conventional threads prevents residue accumulation in hard-to-reach areas, significantly improving the purity of the filling process. Additionally, the incorporation of PTFE seals enhances leak protection.

With a housing made of high-quality stainless steel and a variable dosing range that includes various size options, the ViSCO.pharma offers high adaptability to the individual needs of production. The rotors are made of stainless steel or ceramic, and the stator is available in various elastomers. Compatibility with components from the ViSCO.series® reduces the need for spare parts and facilitates maintenance and servicing, promising long-term cost efficiency and simplified handling.

The approval of the ViSCO.pharma by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a decisive quality feature that highlights its suitability for use in sensitive production environments and ensures that it meets the high standards of safety, purity, and performance for processing and dosing in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries.
